Fiery lead solos in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan blended with a raw, progressive country sound provide a unique the performance by ASCAP singer-songwriter, Dustin Garrett. Performing on stage for 18 years, Dustin has acquired an impressive list of performance venues, including The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was a guest solo singing artist at age 10. Born in Waylon Jennings’ hometown of Littlefield, Texas, Dustin was destined to master country and rock ‘n’ roll music early on. Truly atypical for a musician of Dustin’s age is his band, The Texas Cruisers.

Formed in 1999, the band includes Mike Garrett (rhythm guitar), Joe Kline (bass guitar) and Cody Hester (drums). Mike (Dustin’s father) has played guitar and performed for more than 20 years. Joe is also an ASCAP songwriter and has performed music for over 30 years. Cody, often featured with a high-powered percussion solo, is a driving force for the Texas Cruisers. Dustin and Cody are music majors at South Plains College, known for producing Grammy winners. Who knows?

Dustin Garrett & The Texas Cruisers play to full house crowds wherever they perform. Dustin plays with the excitement of youth and the energy of an atomic bomb.
