Hey folks,

With the article in the Amarillo Globe News on Sunday, the hits skyrocketed in the 12,000 range. And we have a lot of newcomers to Project Amarillo. We welcome you to the site, and hope you enjoy everything. Also, your input is taken seriously. The biggest complaint that I received was about the images in the background. I was told that it's hard to read the text over the top of them. I considered going ahead and removing them and leaving a solid black background. But I have had many compliments in the past on the images as well. I don't want to remove the background if many would rather keep it there.  So...

I'm putting it to a vote! There is a post on the forum / message boards asking for your votes on the decision. I want to know if you want me to keep them, take them out, or something else. Get over there and vote. Anyone can vote, you need not register! The winning vote will decide the fate of Project Amarillo's background!

Who the hell are those bands anyways? I have never seen them, and AvenueX closed

Solid black background or with band pics in the background aren't as important
as long as bright green, yellow or white letters are used to read the articles.

That's awesome your traffic got a spike Jeff! I hope they stick around. I try to
mention it at my shows.
I read that piece, they quoted me and I didn't even
know it was gonna be in there.

only the blue and gray are hardfor me to read, but not so hard that you need to
spend too much time on it for me!
